In this video, I demonstrate how to build a custom AI voice agent for your website using ElevenLabs and Airtable. ElevenLabs has recently introduced an AI agent feature that allows businesses to create interactive voice assistants capable of answering questions, guiding users, and even performing actions like redirecting visitors to relevant blog posts or triggering automated workflows. By leveraging Airtable as a dynamic knowledge base, we ensure the agent always has the latest content available.

The setup process begins with creating an AI agent inside ElevenLabs, where we configure its voice, system prompts, and initial knowledge. Next, we link the agent to Airtable using Make.com, which allows us to automate data syncing so that new blog posts or company updates are automatically added to the agent’s knowledge base. This means users can ask the agent for information, and it will fetch the latest relevant articles or company details.

Beyond answering questions, this AI agent can also perform custom actions. In this video, I show how to create an action that redirects users to specific pages based on their queries. Using Make.com and webhooks, the agent can also trigger additional workflows, such as capturing voice feedback or sending data to Airtable. For those who want more advanced control, I briefly cover how to use JavaScript to extend the agent’s functionality on your website.
